This deliciously creamy recipe that can serve as an appetizer for celebration, family parties, get together and special occasions.
Tangdi or Tangri literally means legs and kabab is a piece of grilled food. Chicken drumsticks that are grilled either over a charcoal fire, tandoori oven, and regular pan or in an oven called Chicken Tangdi Kabab.
How to Make Malai Tangdi Kabab
Chicken drumsticks are marinated with a rich mixture of fresh cream, hung curd, cheese spread, lime juice, salt, ginger-garlic paste, onion paste, fresh coriander leaves & green chilies finely chopped, green cardamom paste. Drumsticks are left in this marination for ½ – 1 hour.
Marinated drumsticks are then cooked in a convection oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 40 mins.
Chicken Malai Tangdi Kabab can be served with cucumber, onion rings, and lemon.

Ingredients
- Chicken Malai Tangdi Kabab Recipe Ingredients:-
- 1kg chicken drumsticks
- 2 tablespoons cheese spread
- 1 teaspoon each Coriander Powder(Dhania), Cumin Seed Powder(Jeera) & Chopped Green Chilies
- 2 tablespoons each Onion Paste & Garlic Paste
- 1 tablespoon Ginger Paste
- 1 teaspoon Green Cardamom paste
- 100 grams hung curd
- ½ Cup fresh cream
- 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped
- 2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
- 3 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 1 teaspoon Gram Masala Powder
- 1 teaspoon Chat Masala
- Melted butter for greasing
- Onion rings for garnishing
- Lemon wedges for garnishing
Directions
- Step 1 Cooking Method for Chicken Malai Tangdi Kabab Recipe
- Step 2 Preheat convection oven at 180ºC.
- Step 3 Slit cut chicken drumsticks put in a bowl. Then add 2 tablespoons cheese spread,1 teaspoon each Coriander Powder(Dhania), Cumin Seed Powder(Jeera) and Chopped Green Chilies, 2 tablespoons each Onion Paste & 2 tablespoons Garlic Paste,1 tablespoon Ginger Paste,1 teaspoon Green Cardamom paste,100 grams hung curd, fresh cream, 2 tablespoons Fresh coriander leaves finely chopped,2 teaspoons Lemon Juice and 3 tablespoons Vegetable Oil and rub well. Set aside to marinate for ½ to 1 Hour.
- Step 4 Place the marinated chicken drumsticks on the convection oven sick / tray. Put the convection oven sick / tray in the preheated oven and bake for 25 minutes.
- Step 5 Take the baking sick / tray out after 10 minutes, brush with butter and bake again for the remaining 15 minutes.
- Step 6 Serve hot garnished with onion rings, sliced cucumber, and a lemon wedge.
